The reasons to adopt a pet from an animal shelter, rather than a breeder or store:
~ You're helping the shelter
~ You're helping the animal
~ You're saving money
~ You're saving a life
~ Older cats or dogs are more mature
~ They're so cute!
~ You'll make a best friend
Our dog came from the SPCA. She was left up in the hills after the owners were evicted. It's a wonder she survived. She's the best dog we've ever had.
